    "Lee's Lieutenants" Volume III, Gettysburg to Appomattox, A Study In Command, Civil War history book by Douglas Southall Freeman. Volume III only from the three volume set, hardcover, 862 pages, 9.25" x 6.5" size, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1944. Includes a history of Civil War campaigns from 1863-1865 and includes photographs, maps, a bibliography and a fold-out map of the battlegrounds of the Army of Northern Virginia bound into the back of the book. In overall very good condition, the fold-out map has a small tear to the edge (see photos).
