Vintage book the soldier in our Civil War fd99.
During the Civil War frank Leslie sent out about 20 skillful and world renowned artist want to be connected with each department of the army with instructions to spare no expense in obtaining sketches of every battle skirmish in military movement this large format book which measures 17 x 11 and consist of engravings of those battles skirmishes and troop movements throughout the Civil War this is a 19 century publication there are 14 pages of engravings there is some discoloration where the staples by the binding of the page there are no major tears there’s one small tear which extends through the firstFour pages please see my photos for details many dealers which shop this book up I just don’t have the heart to do it
