Vintage 18 AIREQUIPT Magazines For Auto Slide Changer
Each Holds 36, 2"x2" Slides, Model P
As pictured, there are 16 boxes of AIREQUIPT aluminum magazines, plus two without boxes and a collection of insert frames. Each box has a clear plastic lid so you can see the slide titles written on an index sheet contained in each magazine. The aluminum magazines have incised identification for AIREQUIPT on two sides as pictured. This product was produced by Airequipt Manufacturing Company of New Rochelle, New York. Each magazine measures 2-1/4" x 5-5/8" x 2-3/8". Weight for the whole group is 6 pounds 10 ounces.
This group is part of a large collection of an artist friend and I am offering them as they were given to me. The condition looks to be very good, but I have noticed some writing on the slide index sheets. Each box contains the aluminum magazine which should hold 36 2x2 slides, but if it does not, the extra frames are there to make up the difference.
