About the Set of 4 Books from The Virginia Regimental Histories Series
Thank you for your interest in this set of four books from The Virginia Regimental Histories. In 1974, Harold E. Howard set out to publish a history of each Virginia regiment that served in the American Civil War (1861-1865). The first book was published in 1982 and the last one in 2004. Each book has a unit history and annotated muster roll including every brave soldier known to serve with that specific unit. Each book is hardcover in gray cloth with the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia on the cover. Some of these books are out-of-print. Each is a Limited Edition, Numbered Copy, and Signed by the Author, thus unique and rare.
