Tamiya presents, Aircraft Series No. 58, 1/48 scale, Detailed plastic replica assembly kit display model, Douglas A-1H Skyraider, US Navy.
First introduced in 1946, the A-1 Skyraider's frontline career as the U.S. Navy's last piston-engined attack aircraft continued for thirty years until it's final service providing close-air support and rescue helicopter escort during the Vietnam War. This kit depicts the most produced variant, the A-1H, and accurately reproduces the aircraft's robust form.
**This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. Glue, model paints, and other basic modeling tools are additionally required**
Includes detailed pictorial instructions and painting instructions, waterslide decals, metal, nylon mesh, and vinyl tracks.
Some features include- complete exterior detailing; includes pilot figure; engine cowl flaps, wing flaps, and dive brakes may be posed in open or closed positions; parts included for ordnance such as 250lb bombs and 5-inch rockets to depict a fully-armed machine.
