In 1895 the Military History Society of Massachusetts put together
collections of various orations and recollections that were given before
    the Society at various meetings.
The results were the recording of many accounts of Civil War battles
and stories that otherwise might have been lost upon the deaths of the Veterans.
The original volumes are highly collectible,
but in 1989 Broadfoot Publishing reprinted the entire set.
The reprints were well done, and include the original maps -
many of them are folding maps.
Well worth owning / reading if you have interest in any
of the subjects the volumes covered.
