About this Item:
We’re pleased to offer this model from a very nice collection that we recently acquired that
belonged to a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, who served as an aircraft mechanic. He wanted to be a pilot but the military would not qualify him due to his eyesight. After his military service, he worked at General Electric in Evendale, Ohio as an aircraft engineer.  He purchased his models through the years intending to assemble them upon his retirement, fate however determined a different destiny.  He passed away at the age of 92 and we sincerely hope that each and every model will be assembled and appreciated so that his intent for them might be fulfilled.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Suffix in parenthesis in the Title of this offering is our inventory reference number. It has nothing to do with the item being offered.

GRUMMAN WILDCAT F4F Model Airplane Kit 6798.
Produced by MONOGRAM and issued in 1973. The pictures show the entire inventory of the parts and the kit appears to be 100% complete and in excellent condition. The kit includes the detailed instruction booklet, the original decal sheet and the Monogram Plastic Model Airplane Kits Catalog. Everything in the box has been carefully packed and place in a protective plastic bag for safe shipping. Please be sure to examine all of the pictures closely.
The Model:
This model kit is in excellent condition. There are several pieces detached from their Sprues but they have all been pictured with their correct number and they are in good condition.
Everything has been pictured and all parts are accounted for and present. All parts and paperwork have been enclosed in a sealed baggie to protect everything during shipping. All of the contents of this model kit from 1973 have been pictured so you can see what you are buying and can be sure that nothing is missing.  This is a very cool old model kit that is now 48 years old. Hard to imagine that it is still here after all these years!
This model kit has been inventoried and is has all of the parts in the original box. The kit has been protected in the original box with in a plastic baggie for safe shipping.
This kit features:

Can be assembled with landing gear extended or retracted
