Nice little work about some soldiers from
Kingstown, Rhode Island who served in the Civil War.
Central to the whole thing is John K. Hull, of the
    7th (Seventh) Rhode Island Infantry.
The centerfold map shows his marching from
    Washington DC to Jackson, Missisippi.
Sadly, he was killed while on picket duty in 1863.
    Letters included are from :
George Rodman, William Nichols, Patrick Lyons, William E. Smith,
Jeremiah K. Rathbun, John K. Hull, Edward T. Allen, John W. Webster,
    and Winfield S. Chappell.
In the back are a series of excerpts from Patrick Lyons letters,
which include his observances of Union Observation Balloons in use.
Seems to be fairly scarce - I only find one other copy on the internet.
That copy has soiled covers and a prior owner's name inside.
My copy is signed, not that it means a lot, and sounds much nicer.
