Frank B. Gilbreth Jr, author of
Cheaper By the Dozen,
under the nom de plume of Ashley Cooper wrote a long running humor column, "Doing the Charleston" for the South Carolina News and Courier newspaper.  The column ran for more than 40 years; ending in 1993.  This volume is a collection of some of his best-loved selections from more than 4 decades.
Paperback printed in 1993.
Paper cover exhibits some minor surface scratches and corners are no longer sharp.  Spine is not broken.  Inscription in pen to the original owners inside front cover (see photo).  All pages tightly bound.  Pages appear to be free from tears, stains or stray marks.
