Offered for auction is a 1/72-scale model of an American Grumman HU-16B Albatross amphibian, made by Monogram Models in 1967.
This
54-YEAR OLD MODEL
is COMPLETE and NEAR MINT IN THE BOX, with about one quarter of the parts still attached to the trees! The parts that are off the trees are packed in a zip lock bag inside the box.
This injection-molded kit includes parts molded in silver-gray plastic, a tree of clear parts, a sheet of decals that has yellowed slightly with markings for the U.S. Air Force version shown on the box top, and assembly instructions. The box is in good condition with light wear from age and storage which includes writing on one end panel, tape on both side panels, and general wear from stacking.
