    Established 1919 in Indianapolis Ind., Elwood Pattern Works is renown for the enlargers. They began manufacturing photographic enlargers. They began their manufacture of enlargers 1924 in a one man shop. The company's business fluorished over the years to the point that they were making more photographic enlargers than any other manufacturer. At one point, they about 70% of all professional and industrial companies were using Elwood enlargers.
    This enlarger head is from the 1930's. It is approximately 8" in diameter at the top (where the light and reflector sits), 11 inches tall x 10" front to back. It has its lens, the swing down red filter, the film holder, and carriage slide.
