  • Condition: This is a complete airplane model with decals and instructions in an open box. The box shows heavy wear with one corner badly torn and other damage. The plastic is complete and some is still on the sprue, but the sprues have been cut into small pieces. The decals and instructions are old but in good shape. The decals don’t show any yellowing, drying or cracking, so they may still be useable.

    Description

    I am selling off some of my stash of model airplane kits. Up for auction is Monogram #7546, which is a 1/48 scale Northrop P-61A/B Black Widow from 1974. The kit is complete, including decals and instructions in an open box. The box is old and shows heavy wear, including one badly torn corner. The plastic is complete, and some of it is still on the sprue, but the sprues have been cut into smaller pieces by a previous owner. The decals and instructions are old, but still in pretty good condition for their age. The decals don’t show any signs of yellowing, drying or cracking so they may still be useable. The decal sheet has markings for 2 aircraft, 1- P-61A-11-NO #42-5536 “Hustlin’ Hussy” in olive drab over neutral gray, or overall black, both with invasion stripes, and 2- P-61B #403 “Times a Wastin” in overall black. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions. I do allow free local pickup(in Tucson and Sedona), and if you win multiple auctions/purchases I will combine shipping. Remember in many locations in the US eBay will collect sales tax on this item.
