    The J-11B is a Russian SU-27 built under license by the Chinese. So it's not too far of a reach to create a Vietnam Air Force SU-27 from this kit.
    The Chinese weapons are suitable for this model, I would think. They are probably Russian in origin.
    This is a great looking kit and will be a lot of fun to build, I would imagine. Here's a shot of one built up with the Chinese paint scheme and decals from a google search.... From what I can tell, the Vietnam Air Force seems to use a basic Flanker scheme.
